WAYS OF THE CIRCLE - in different practices

There are so many out there practicing ways of the circle.
I have posted a few videoes here of people I know and know of, or just found by coincidence and found hitting something.
There's so much new stuff and modulations around. My pics here are no way updated or completing the picture of what 'the circle' is and can do.
Some are making a school or business out of circle ways, taking copyright on old tranditions and sayings. What I'm saying is, it's recommended to look into the guiding principles, but after that
'try it out' stands up front.

MANITONQUAT - MEDICINE STORY
I entered the world of the circle, meeting Medicine Story - Manitonquat - an ascendant of the Wampanoag, 1. nation people of the US. He was passing on the ancient wisdom, modeling it into contemporary world in a way, not always recognised as 'real native' by his people. Much of it through story telling, and through camps and teaching in Europe. Amongst his engagements were ongoing circles with death row inmates in US prisons.
He is the author of several books on circles (circleway.org) and worked to spread its importance in a lifelong partnership with Ellika Linden. In 2018, at the age of 89, he died with spark and spirit intact.

Their work together was much about community making and how to convert old principles into new settings and ways of thinking, mingling with 'new spirituality' and experimental living.
By participating in summercamps in the 1980'es ~ including the community circle, family council, shared and changing leadership and derived circles in my everyday life in Copenhagen - I got my first taste of the manyfold aspects and outcomes of the circle way.

PIP BONDY was introduced to me by a friend, who worked with her.
In the first part of this video Pipi talks about her deep personal experience with the circle (council) and her way of passing on this healing practice.

"The true value (of a circle) is the relationships developed    through vulnerability and intimacy. As barriers melt away,
it leads us towards things that nobody expected."
Uri Meir, on his work with migrants in Umbria, Italy

CIRCLING - DEEP PROCESSES IN A COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP
'Circling' is a term for what can happen in a community when everyone is committed to and aware of relating with awareness.

CirclingEurope (www.cirklingeurope.com) writes:
"Circling is what is happening in the present moment in our connections with each other"
"There is no trying to get anywhere (although we include our longings and desires); we simply open more skilfully to what is here within us and between us"

THE 5 PRINCIPLES OF CIRCLING:
Commitment to Connection (presence with self and others)
Owning your experience (responsability)
Staying with the level of sensation (embodiment)
Being with the other in the world (honoring)
Trusting Experience (trust)

SURRENDERED LEADERSHIPIN CONNECTION WITH THE WHOLE is part of this concept, which challenges the facilitator/leader to devote themselves to listening deep into the process and everyone's equal participation - putting aside a firm agenda.
Just as it points out that everyone must see themselves as co-leaders
