AN EMBODYING CIRCLE PRACTICE

WHAT A CIRCLE CAN DO ~ a simple an powerful practice

When people unmask themselves and bring in their processes and treasures, we realise how manifold and multifacetted we are,
how much there is to mirror and grow from ~ how heart awakening it is, to be granted a look into the essence of another human soul, and to share and be seen, when coming from one's own truth.

The circle can become an arena for unfolding, a space for light and life to flow through the cracks...

By intending to meet ourselves and the outside world in heartfull ways across the differencies we carry in our genes/our soul, across diverse backgrounds and conditioning..
the circle can become our sanctuary
- through honouring what is sacred to us
- in showing deep respect towards the intimate processes shared and allowing body, heart and subtle sensing to guide and work for us.

We need a space and practicing, to grow with our challenges and dare stand vulnerable, powerful and free to express what is moving in this moment ~ where fault and failure belong to an outdated narrative and we make way for fun and feelings, make way for every temperament, every form of presence and expression - words / no words - natural to us.

To see oneself as a co-creator of the space, the notion 'a leader in every chair' may help. You may also call it 'a voice' ~ a wisdom ~ a unique presence in every position.

This perspective we can bring  into other settings and fields of our life and embody ideals of equal worth, heartfelt ways and taking guidance from the moment.
Experiencing the mutual trust and the precious core of each individual, may also colour how we approach a stranger, our neighbor, a friend, people in general.

THE NEW•SEEDS CIRCLE ~ and the circle-space..
is for those who wish to unfold the ways of their heart and soul, in an equality based community building on attentiveness and awareness towards oneself and the common field.

It is to listen to the body and to energies moving within oneself and within the circle.

It is to grow in response-ability to what happens inside and show respect for the integrity of others.

The practice and guidelines suggested here may work as a foundation. They may be adjusted as we frame our values and needs within intentions for the group space.

IN THE FOCUSED TIME AND SPACE OF THE CIRCLE
bear witness and be witnessed
we are invited to meet face to face
~ to listen, sense and be seen.

Everyone is given time and space to share.
Everyone holds a position of attention towards the shared.

This space is our shared physical and subtle field ~ created by all that we bring, internally and through expression.

It moves us individually and in different ways.
At times we may build a field of spirit that can hold transformational / alchemical processes.
At other times we may open to a strong communion of human hearts.
Every circle is different. What arises in this particular time and constellation of people is unique.

GUIDELINES ~ are here to guide, not to rule us
In fact all this is, is invitations to become aware of what works, and what do not work in our relations and unfolding.

CIRCLE PRACTICE CAN WORK FOR US AS A SAFE AND HOLDING STRUCTURE

Basic circle structure (example):
Meeting real-life, we sit in a circle. A 'sharing piece' goes from hand to hand and foster focus of attention to the one holding it.
Online we may arrange the one sharing in the middle of the screen. We may divide into smaller groups.

Basic circle guidelines:
We aim to
• listen from the heart
• share from the heart
• share from the present moment,
what's up, no less ~ no more
• share in our own expression (allowing voice, body, heart to find its own ways)
• maintain confidentiality
What happens in the circle ~ stays in the circle

Basic circle practice has a power to hold a space of witnessing attention, feeling safe and in charge of own process, and often a deeper communion emerges.

A shared heartfelt intention created together will hold the magic of the field.

These basic guidelines and the form is greatly inspired by long term practitioners and practicing, and they are the outspring of the new•seeds•circle.

PRESENCE, HEART AND MINDFULLNESS

BEING AN EMBODIED LISTENER ~ is witnessing with our presence and holding space for the one in focus.
☆ connected listening
- is a training in listening with more than ears,
to more than is being said
- embracing - focusing on the light/potential
in the other and between us
☆ listen from the heart
- an intend of compassion and equality
- find meeting points / acknowledge
- respect differences.
☆ when judgement comes
- own your reactions, learn from its projection and let go
- maybe shift focus from mind/emotion to body and heart
☆ no feedback or comments
- unless asked for or given permission to

EMBODIED SHARING ~ is our vibration being expressed ~ is an opportunity to connect to our deeper being ~ it's a gift to ourself and to others
☆ connected sharing
- any language of expression is welcomed,
words / other than words.
Whatever connects us deeper to ourselves in the moment.
☆ share from the heart
- from your sence of realness
☆ share 'what is' in the moment
- try being spontaneous, surprise yourself.
What comes may be silent, silly, bold.
It may be brilliant.
☆ with focus ~ what feels important
 - no more ~ no less
☆ from the 'me' experience
- embodying our insights.
- downplay mental mission or eager to fit in
☆ stay on own ground
- do not comment on another's sharing (respecting integrity)
- you may share what it touches in you
☆ keep in mind the time and size of the circle
 - leaving time for everyone

HOSTING/CO-HOSTING AND SELFCARE
☆ keeping clear whether there's mainly one or more space and time holder(s) or we lean on shared efford
☆ hosting in tune with intend and true needs
- surrendered, intuitive leadership
- with human back up
☆ the 'time-out' and co-creator obtion
- gives the opportunity for everyone to suggest a change in flow
- or if overwhelmed/provoked/excited,
we can pause the line of the circle to openly process
our energies, thoughts and emotions
- or maybe leave the circle a while for self-care

THE ONE RULE:
☆ WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CIRCLE ~ STAYS IN THE CIRCLE
- confidentiallity helps us honour the field as a sacred space of transformation - often involving private and intimate processes.
Unless agreed upon otherwise, it is a rule that everyone commit to, to build mutual trust and care.
The same goes with taking photos, video- / audio recording without prior permission.

INVITE FOR A CIRCLE ~ YOUR OWN WAY
We can make our own agreements in line with a particular purpose
of the gathering and the composition of people.

Maybe take these guidelines as an inspiration
to be reflected upon, evolved, changed
whenever needed

more about the subtle field

INTENTION SETTING - A SUPPORTIVE TOOL OF COHERENCY
through chaos and free flow ~ a catalyst for magic emergence

CHOOSING AND RADIATING AN INTENTION ~ is to focus our entire attention on what we wish for - and help it emerge

☆ PERSONAL INTENTION is to support our own current process,
related to the theme of the circle, or our path in general.
It may be something to do before we meet or in the beginning of the circle.

☆ SHARED INTENTION will make needs, ideas and greater values visible

Relational intention can be to hightligt our needs and values and agree to respect certain shared guidelines.

Greater intention is to call on spirit / energy / inner wisdom to bring forth a common greater good / frequency .. you name it

It may be part of the start-up of a circle.

Without a specific intent, we can leave the field to find its best ways - for the highest good (or how we choose to put it into words)

PREPARING
- inspiration for spaceholder(s) or for everyone joining

TUNING IN - however you choose to do it.
It may go hand in hand with the practical preparation.

SETTING THE PHYSICAL SCENE by preparing the tools we wish to use to strengthen the co-created subtle field.

Such as
☆ creating a symbolic setup in the middle
☆ or maybe we need an open space ~ an arena for expression to step into
☆ choose a 'sharing object'~ traditionally called a 'talking stick' - is a symbolic object to be passed around the circle or to reach out for, when ready. It gives focus to the person sharing and might feel as something to hold on to.

Note again - that all of this is set to inspire
- not to impose or restrict...
